Getting started
Get a free developer account and a Sandbox Hotel, then learn how authentication and the API's conventions work.
You can go from nothing to a real booking in a test hotel in a few minutes. You need a free ChatBeds developer account, a terminal, and nothing else: no card and no plan.
What you get
- A developer account. A normal ChatBeds account at no cost, with the hotel set-up wizard skipped.
- A Sandbox Hotel. Invented rooms, prices, guests, staff and stock to test with. It is never billed.
- A sandbox API key (
cbk_...), so you can call the API straight away. - The Developers page, where you register apps that any hotel on ChatBeds can connect.
